White-Backed Mousebird

The White-backed Mousebird (Afrikaans name, Witrugmuisvoel) is an endemic African order of birds. The remind me of a cockatoo of kinds.

White-backed mousebirds are common residents on the savannah and fynbos areas. They usually clamber about in the thick vegetation and we managed to find these in our garden in Table View and at the West Coast National Park.
