Tropic of Capricorn

Whilst traveling through the Kruger National Park we went through the Tropic of Capricorn, it is the southern boundary of the tropics. This parallel marks the farthest point south at which the sun can be seen directly overhead at noon.

The tropics are also where the impact of climate change is seen the most.

Just driving through it did not have any noticeable impression on us but did make us stop and think about where exactly in Africa we were and what it looked like on a map.
