Tawny Frogmouth

The Tawny Frogmouth is often confused with owls but they are more closely related to Nightjars. They are mostly nocturnal, feeding after dusk and early mornings.

They feed mainly on insects, spiders, mammals, other birds and frogs. We saw them in Centennial Park in NSW Australia.
