Sickle Bush

The Sickle bush (Dichrostachys cinerea) (Afrikaans name Sekelbos) is a multi stemmed shrub growing in the central, eastern and Northern woodlands.

The flowers are most beautiful and unusual and gets one of its nicknames from the odd shaped flower, Chinese lantern tree. We saw many of them in the Kruger National Park.
