The Common Meadow White Butterfly, Pontia helice helice (Afrikaans name Bontrokkie) is a common butterfly right across Southern Africa.
They prefer grassland and open country.
Known as one of the faster flying butterflies, we were lucky to have managed a few photos of this one in Constantia.
