Impala Males Fighting For The Harem

These Impala males were sparring and locking horns to test strength and who would win the harem in the end.

Rams separate out harem herds of 15 to 20 ewes, and their young, for mating.

Rams are only territorial during the rut and at the end of the season and for the rest of the year, return to the bachelor herds. The Victor shouting out his victory.
