Cape Weaver

The Cape Weaver (Afrikaans name, Kaapse Wewer) is a common resident in and around waterways of the Western Cape and coastal regions of the Eastern Cape.

The Male is more brightly coloured with a white eye.

The female is a duller colour and has a brown eye.

They build those wonderful woven nests that are normally seen hanging over the water.
