We came upon these Buffalo (Afrikaans name, Buffel) early on a freezing cold morning, at Elephant Plains in the Kruger National Park, on their way to the dam to drink. The mist was hanging low over the dam and some green algae around the edges left this buffalo with a beautiful bit of green lipstick on his nose.
