The African Clouded Butterfly (Colias electo electo) Afrikaans name (Wolk-oranje), also known as Lucerne Butterfly is quite widespread throughout South Africa and they breed throughout the year.
I came across this one in the Rietvlei Nature Reserve in Cape Town. I thought their green eyes and red antennae quite unique.
