Woodland Kingfisher

The Woodland Kingfisher (Afrikaans name, Bosveldvisvanger, Zulu name uNongozolo) is an intra Africa migrant visiting in the summer.

Usually found in woodland and savanna with tall trees.

It has the most beautiful trilling call that can be heard for miles around.

We have seen them in the Kruger National Park.
