The Call Of The Fish Eagle

The call of the African Fish-eagle is one that will stay with you forever. It is the sound of Africa.

The sound will bury itself deep into your soul and send goosebumps running across your skin. It is an unmistakable sound like no other on earth.

This adult fish-eagle was responding to a juvenile’s incessant call for food. We experienced this up close for the very first time at Lake Panic in the Kruger National Park.
