Temminck’s Courser

Temminck’s Courser (Afrikaans name, Trekdrawwertjie) is the smallest of the coursers and is said to be common but it is not really seen that often. We managed to see these in the Kruger National Park.

The Temminck’s Courser is an intra-African migrant mostly found in dry grasslands or recently burned areas. Feeds mostly on insects.
