Sugarbush Protea

Here are three different Sugarbush Proteas, each more beautiful than the next.

The Protea is the National Flower of South Africa.

These flowers are endemic to the Western Cape and more specifically to the Cape Floral Kingdom. These photos were taken in the Kirstenbosch Gardens, the Helderberg Nature Reserve and the Harold Porter Gardens.
