Southern Grey-Headed Sparrow

The Southern Grey-headed Sparrow (Afrikaans name, Gryskopmossie) is a common resident of the region, feeding on insects, fruit and aloe nectar.

They build their nests in holes in trees or in old Swift and Buffalo Weaver nests.

We saw these in the Kruger National Park.
