Sombre Greenbul

The Sombre Greenbul (Afrikaans name, Gewone Willie) is a common resident in forest canopy and thickets. Although common he is hardly ever seen out in the open, usually blending in with the green leaves of the trees.

Sombre Greenbul feeds mostly on fruit and insects.

We often hear them but seldom see them but were lucky in the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
