Red-Billed Quelea

Red-Billed Quelea (Afrikaans name Rooibekkwelea) travel in huge flocks seen in savanna and cereal fields.

The Male has beautiful red markings when breeding otherwise beige with a red bill.

The female has a yellow bill. We saw flocks of them in the Kruger National Park.
