Lizard Buzzard

The Lizard Buzzard (Afrikaans name, Akkedisvalk) is such a tiny little bird that we hardly noticed it at all.

Pat spotted this from a distance and at the time that we took this photo, we weren’t clear on exactly which bird this was. Only on returning to the camp at Elephant Plains did we discover what a rare sighting this was. Another lifer for us.
