Karoo Lark

The Karoo Lark (Afrikaans name Karoolewerick) is found mainly in the Karoo and coastal shrublands. Feeds mainly on seeds and insects.

It makes a cuplike nest usually concealed under a grass tuft. We saw this one in the West Coast National Park
