The Galah is a type of Cockatoo with a beautiful crest and rosy colour.

They are usually found in woodlands of Eucalypts, pine and cypress, they are predominantly ground feeders on grasses, seeds, herbs and roots. Also new leaf growth, saltbush blossoms, insects and larvae.

We managed to spot four of them in the top of the trees in Centennial Park.
