Common Whimbrel

The Common Whimbrel (Afrikaans name Kleinwulp) is a waser, it is also a Paleartic migrant, with a large decurved bill, they visit our shores in the summer.

Normally found in wetlands and along the lake shorelines, we saw them in the West Coast National Park
