Cape Turtle Dove

The Cape Turtle Dove (Afrikaans name Gewone Tortelduif) are found all around Southern Africa except for forests.

Their cal sounds like “work harder, work harder” repeated over and over.

We saw them in the Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens.
