Bauhinia Tomentosa

The Bauhinia Tomentosa, also known as Bush Neat’s Foot (Afrikaans name, Bosbeesklou) is the only yellow Bauhinia in Southern Africa. The sulphur coloured flowers sometimes have a maroon or dark brown centre.

The seedpods are velvety. This is such a pretty little tree that it is most sought after by gardeners. This tree is also widely used for medicinal purposes.
